NCIBI Natural Language Processing - Web Services
The NCIBI NLP web services provide programmatic access to parsed and tagged text from the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) PubMed literature database. The PubMed text is currently tagged by Entrez GeneID, allowing researchers to retrieve text that may be related to genes of interest. Untagged sentence-level parsed text is also available through this interface for inclusion into literature-oriented data pipelines. Future versions will have tags for MeSH terms, compounds, and other biomedically relevant concepts. The NCIBI NLP database is updated on a nightly basis.
